Grenade/Rocket launchers play a big part in the real world and they should in Military Simulation. Therefore the rules for grenade launchers are varied from that of regular Michigan Airsoft play.
Grenade Launcher Rules:
Grenade Launchers firing accepted projectiles adhere to the following rules.
1.)The projectile may not be directly fired at any singular player. To avoid serious injury. Doing this will lead to direct expulsion from the current event and possible permanent ban from MilSim Michigan.
2.)There is a 15 foot kill radius wherever the projectile lands. If you are within this radius, you must declare yourself out.
3.)If projectile lands inside of a building, everyone inside of that specific room are considered dead.
This information is to be used as a guideline to assist MilSim event hosters, the rules laid down here are not enforced by MilSim Michigan and it is not necessary to use these rules.
4.)Allowed projectiles will be decided at the event host's digression. Recommended are Nerf balls or small vortex footballs. Soft objects are ideal.
Grenade Launchers firing regular scattershot shells filled with bb's follow normal Michigan Airsoft rules.
Rocket Launcher Rules:
1.)Rocket Launcher must look realistic to real rocket launchers. PVC pipes and potato guns will not be allowed. They must also use accepted projectiles.
2.)Rockets must not be fired directly at players. Doing so will lead to immediate expulsion from the game and possible permanent ban from MilSim Michigan.
3.)A 15 foot kill radius is in effect where ever the rocket lands.
4.)If a rocket hits a building, everyone inside that room is dead.
